Parramatta Lanes 2025 kicks off with a night that’s anything but ordinary. From rooftop raves and Filipino feasts to jazz lounges and street battles, Wednesday is stacked with flavour, rhythm and surprise. Whether you're here for the eats, the beats or the art that hits different, this guide has you covered.

Plan your Lanes

Parramatta Lanes is taking over the city, so expect road and car park closures and transport updates. We recommend skipping the traffic and catching the train to Parramatta Station or hopping off the light rail at Prince Alfred Square or Parramatta Square to be in the heart of the action. 1. Parramatta Square

Eats

Start your night with the Boodle Fight- a communal Filipino feast served on banana leaves. Bookings essential (6–7:30pm) - book here. 

While you're here:

  • Visit the AT Parramatta container for giveaways
  • Refresh at the Hydralyte Hydration Station
  • Explore digital artworks inside PHIVE

Food stalls include: Mix Mix Co, Hoy Pinoy, Ceylonia, Sol Bowl, Kampung Laksa, Nautanki Sala, Ten Thirty One Co.

  • Ascend by Legs On The Wall – aerial dance performance at 5:45pm, 7:45pm, 9pm
  • Karaoke by CLIPPED – 7pm
  • K-Pop Group, D#Orchestra, all the way from Korea will be performing at 7:40pm (also performing at Eat Street Car Park)

2. Town Hall

Eats

Relax at Terrazza Aperol in the forecourt – the perfect spot to catch Ascend. You could even win a trip to Italy.

3. Beatdisc Lane & St John’s Lawn

Beatdisc Lane will be buzzing with independent music curated by local legends Beatdisc Records.

4. Cent Square

5. Leigh Memorial Car Park

6. 211 Church Street

211 Church Street transforms into a hidden world inspired by the French Quarter. 

Eats

Visitors can enjoy food and drinks from Church Street Bar by Aperol Spritz, Bianco, Stroop Brother, Shortys, Antico Wood-fired Pizza and Mr Puff Loukoumades.

Beats

Jazz performances will set the mood on Wednesday and Friday nights, creating a relaxed and ambient atmosphere.
 

While you’re in the area, you can also take part in the Paint Your Partner Workshop at Eckersley’s, located at 286 Church Street.

7. George Street

Beats

George Street will be alive with hip hop, dance and graffiti curated by Street University. From 5:20 to 9:40pm, young artists will showcase raw talent and unapologetic expression.

Food options include Smash My Buns, The Big Big Aloha, Brother Jackon & Co, Caminito Italian Street Food and Spudlife. You’ll also find the Hydralyte Hydration Station nearby.

8. Auctioneer Lane

Auctioneer Lane will feature Yummy Yummy Knafeh, a sweet treat worth seeking out. The precinct will also host an Afro/French music night, bringing global grooves to the heart of Parramatta.

9. Powerhouse Lane

Eats

Powerhouse Lane will be serving up bold flavours from Masala Kitchen, Taste of Sierra Leone, Saigon Birria, Lugaw Queen, Mama Sela’s Polynesian Treats and Sangee’s Kitchen.

The precinct will also feature Powerhouse Niu Music, a celebration of Polynesian and Pacifika sounds, alongside artwork by Emma Pham.

10. Eat Street Car Park

Eat Street Car Park will be transformed into a multi-level sensory playground. Visitors can explore food offerings across the Ground Level, Level 1, Level 2 and Rooftop, including glow-in-the-dark desserts and viral eats.

The Optus Disco Buggy will transport guests between levels. 

On Level 2, the Cheff Market DJs Rave Cave will run from 6:00 to 10:00pm, while the rooftop will host the Levins Curates DJ Set from 5:30 to 10:00pm.

Art

 This site is a multi-level gallery of immersive and thought-provoking art

On the Ground Level, James Brown’s Nocturnal Rhythms* of Parramatta captures the city’s heartbeat after dark through digital projection, setting the tone for the night’s energy.

On Level 3, the experience deepens with:

  • Sammi by Sammi: an interactive piece that watches you as you watch it, inviting reflection and curiosity.
  • The Darkness Between the Stars by Serwah Attafuah*: a vivid Afrofuturist dreamscape that explores identity and imagination.
  • I Wish I Could Tell You So Much More, But I Can’t by Audrey Newton: a surrealist sculpture featuring resin-preserved roses, evoking themes of memory and emotion.

11. Erby Place

Erby Place will host a high-energy DJ Battle in the Ring from 5:00 to 10:00pm. Food vendors include Ola Lola, Ash’s Nachos and Karu Distillery.

12. Latin Quarter

The Latin Quarter will bring South American flavour to the Lanes with Smoking Gringos and open-fire BBQ at PARKROYAL Parramatta’s Bar30. 

The site will also host a lively Cumbia Night, perfect for dancing under the stars.

13. Riverside Theatres & Lennox Bridge

Inside the theatre, experience the world-premiere of Daytime Deewane at 7pm. Presented by the National Theatre of Parramatta, this high-energy, heart-filled ride through 1990s London rave culture blends spoken word, Bhangra beats and bold storytelling. It’s a powerful portrait of identity, rebellion and freedom. Book here.
