Powerhouse Lane is a celebration of the culinary and musical landscape of Western Sydney, presented across four incredible nights in Horwood Place in Parramatta. Featuring music curated by Koori Radio, KERFEW, MC Trey and artwork by celebrated Western Sydney artist Emma Pham.

Powerhouse Lane is an initiative of Lanes Collective, proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with City of Parramatta Council and Powerhouse.

Colourful pixel art game menu featuring diverse characters, food stalls, a taxi, and road signs with a playful, nostalgic video game vibe.

Art

Step into Emma Pham’s iridescent world and experience a pixelated playground of avatar friends, blooming florals and familiar icons.

Her work blends kitschy animation with game-inspired aesthetics to tell stories of culture, identity and connection. At Powerhouse Lane 2025, her avatars reflect the spirited, diverse people of Western Sydney, surrounded by native and cultural flowers that symbolise harmony with nature in the heart of a city that’s constantly evolving.
