A Night in Support of Ronald McDonald House, Westmead
Councillor Martin Zaiter, Lord Mayor, is inviting Parramatta’s business and community leaders to join him and take part in the Lord Mayor’s Sleepout for Sick Kids; a night in support of Ronald McDonald House at The Children’s Hospital, Westmead.
When a child is in hospital, the whole family’s world changes. Parents do whatever it takes to stay close and often for extended periods – because being there matters. That’s why this Sleepout supports families staying close when it matters most.
Taking place on Thursday 2 July, the Lord Mayor’s Sleepout will see participants spend a night sleeping out at Ronald McDonald House, while also preparing and serving meals, spending time with families, and helping share their stories with warmth and respect.
This initiative is about standing alongside families who need to stay close to their child during hospital care, while raising funds to help ensure they have a safe and supportive place to be together.
Please join the Lord Mayor or support the cause with a donation today.
