Discover Automobile, a dynamic large‑scale public artwork by internationally recognised artist Joe Namy. 

This one‑night-only experience transforms Centenary Square into an immersive outdoor performance celebrating Western Sydney’s vibrant auto‑culture.

What's Happening

Automobile brings together a fleet of modified cars from local enthusiasts across Parramatta and Western Sydney - vehicles customised with powerful sound systems, bold visual designs and LED lighting. 

Connected to a central DJ deck, these cars form a shared sound system that turns the square into a community dancefloor. What’s usually a private space - the inside of a car - becomes a lively, collective celebration of music, movement and creative expression.

Grab a drink from the pop up bar or something tasty to eat from our food trucks from  Pocket Rocketz and Smoking Gringos.
