These Autumn school holidays, head to Parramatta Artists Studios in Granville for a hands-on, artist-led creative experience. Nicole Barakat will guide young people aged 5–12 through a fun and engaging workshop that centres on the practice of listening to plants.
Participants will learn how to listen deeply and connect with ancestral plants and trees, using intuition and observation as creative tools. Children will then create their own unique artwork using natural plant dyes and inks.
All materials and tools are provided.
Caregivers of children under 10 are welcome to remain in the studio common area during the workshop, where tea and coffee will be available
