PHIVE Presents Term 2: Mums & Bubs Wiggle, Jiggle & Grow

For little movers aged 6 months to 4 years

Wiggle, Jiggle & Grow is a fun, gentle movement and music session for young children and their parents or carers. Designed for mixed‑age groups, the class offers flexible activities so everyone, from little babies to confident preschoolers, can join in at their own pace.

Each session combines:

• simple movement and play
• music and original songs
• dancing and interactive games
• sensory play with props like scarves and parachutes
• special moments such as African drumming and calm, mindful wind‑down time
• Children are free to wiggle, bounce, crawl, roll or simply watch — there’s no pressure to “keep up”. 
• Parents and carers stay with their child and are welcome to join in as much (or as little) as they like.
   

This program supports:

• confidence and body awareness
• coordination and balance
• listening and focus
• social connection and bonding
• Most of all, it’s a joyful shared experience — a chance to move, laugh and connect together in a welcoming, supportive space.

Time: 10am - 10:45am 

Location: Dharug Country, Active Wellness Studios, Level 3, PHIVE 5 Parramatta Square

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• This workshop is suitable for pre-school aged children from 6 months - 4 years only
• Parents and Carers are required to stay with children for the duration of the program.
• Yoga mats will be provided for all children and sanitised after each use, but you are welcome to bring your own
• Parents and Carers are encouraged to participate alongside their child but must bring their own mat
• Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to allow for registration
• If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket or contact education@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au for assistance
• While we understand that child can be unpredicatble, we unfortunately can't offer refunds
