Always On in Parramatta: Frankie B’s 24/7 Dining Story
How a family‑run favourite is powering Parramatta’s 24/7 dining scene.
Serving the City around the clock, Frankie B’s has become a cornerstone of Parramatta’s late night food scene. With a diverse community, growing visitor economy and a city that doesn’t switch off, this family run business thrives by meeting demand whenever it strikes.
As Managing Director Melissa Criniti explains, the decision to operate 24 hours came from recognising an opportunity in Parramatta’s evolving city centre.
“Nobody else was doing it, so we decided to take the opportunity and do it. And there’s a market for it.”
The restaurant has grown alongside the City itself, benefiting from Parramatta’s expanding population, infrastructure and transport connections.
“There’s been such new development here with new apartments and so many more people coming. We’ve got the new light rail and it makes it easier for people to get to our restaurant.”
From midnight meals to early morning catchups, Frankie B’s continues to meet the needs of a growing night-time economy while helping shape the City’s late night culture.
“We’re wanting to bring a vibe into Parramatta and we’ve started it. Hopefully others will follow. The more the merrier.”
For Melissa, the energy of Parramatta’s evening economy is about more than just food, it is about community. “It’s the culture. Bringing cultures together, food, drinks, and nightlife. It’s bringing a vibe.”
