Business Guide to Parramatta Lanes

Parramatta Lanes returns from Wednesday 22 to Saturday 25 October 2025, bringing thousands of visitors to the CBD for four nights of food, music, and culture. To help you navigate the city during this major event, here’s everything you need to know about traffic, transport, and parking impacts.

Parking Impacts

There are parking restrictions on Macquarie, George, and Phillip Streets from 16 – 26 October.

Eat Street Car Park will have restricted parking from 17 – 28 October and will be completely closed for parking from 21 – 25 October.

Road Closures

20 - 26 October

Select City centre roads will be closed throughout Parramatta Lanes. 

Expect traffic delays throughout the CBD.

Light Rail Service Changes

22 - 25 October 

There will be no service at the Church Street stop from 5pm until one hour after the event ends. 

Light Rail will operate from Carlingford to Parramatta Square. Buses will replace the light rail services between Parramatta Square and Westmead bypassing the Church Street stop
