PHIVE Presents: Seniors Festival - A Walk Through Time
5 Parramatta Square, Parramatta NSW 2150
Step into stories that have shaped Parramatta for generations. Start with a guided visit to St John’s Cathedral, set on Australia’s oldest church site in continuous use, then wander across to the beautifully restored Parramatta Town Hall before we wrap up with a lovely morning tea in the Charles Burns Room of Town Hall, shared with new friends.
This special Seniors Week program is free to attend. Come curious, leave delighted.
What you’ll experience
- Guided Cathedral tour (40 mins) — hear the living history of St John’s and its treasured precinct, directly from those who care for it.
- Town Hall highlights (40 min) — explore the heritage heart of our civic life and discover how the building continues to evolve with the city.
- A relaxed morning tea (40 min) — time to chat, reflect and swap favourite discoveries from the morning.
Please note: Parramatta Town Hall is a working venue. On rare occasions, if a booking comes in, we may need to move the morning tea back to a comfortable room at PHIVE. If this happens, we’ll make the transition easy and ensure you still enjoy the same warm, welcoming experience.
