Taste of Bush School in Parramatta Park
-
Pitt Street & Macquarie Street, Parramatta
Parramatta Park is bringing its popular Bush School program to the woodlands - and families are invited to experience the joy of Nature Play in one of the city’s most loved green spaces.
Perfect for children aged 2.5 to 5 years, Bush School encourages little adventurers to slow down, explore and connect with the natural world. Kids climb, splash, balance, build and wander at their own pace, supported by experienced nature play educators.
A child‑led outdoor learning experience
Each session is open‑ended and guided by children’s curiosity. They might build cubbies, tie ropes, search for bugs or dig into the dirt — there’s no rush and no set path. Educators gently guide the experience, while carers stay and join in, learning alongside their child through hands‑on, nature-based play.
What you can expect
- Nature-based free play and sensory discovery
- Mud, sticks, leaves and imaginative adventures

Bush School is a stay‑and‑play experience, creating space for children and carers to explore, learn and reconnect outdoors — right here in Parramatta Park.
