The whole family will enjoy our quirky activations this year.
- Bring your furry friends along to the free dog agility course in Prince Alfred Square. This was a huge hit last year and is returning for more tail-wagging fun.
- Catch the adrenaline-fueled action at the pop-up wrestling ring in Prince Alfred Square on Friday and Saturday night! Get ready for all the body slams and high-stakes drama!
- Look out for roving entertainment such as Lucky African Drumming, Bluey and cos play by SMASH! Sunny Bins Sound System are returning for more bubble and music fun!
Eats
Take the kids on a culinary adventure with a variety of food stalls offering delicious treats from around the world.
- Have a relaxed moment in Brislington Gardens amongst the magical lights and enjoy a delicious, sweet treat from KOI Dessert Bar or Mr Spanish Churro.
- Head to the Eat Street Car Park just off Phillip Street from 5pm for the viral TikTok food stalls on the rooftop. Expect Flappy's Fried Chicken, Spudhole, Sammy’s viral Dubai chicken wrap and much more. These stalls will all have a unique menu option that you can only get at Parramatta Lanes!
- On the ground floor of the car park, find Levins Lane with food stalls from Gelato Messina and Zungle Korean BBQ. Plus a giant gacha gacha machine.
- Prince Alfred Square will have 16 food vendors including jumbo doughnuts from Mad Dough, Palestinian street food from Stripped Gaza, Asian style pancakes from Bao Dao Taiwanese Kitchen, Antico Woodfired Pizza, Melon Fiesta and Samaras Lebanese Street Food.
Beats
For families that like to have a boogie, Parramatta Lanes will have 8 music stages with everything from hip hop to pop, funk, jazz and international music.
- The Justice Precinct Courtyard on Macquarie Street will have Bollywood inspired music and a colourful Southeast Asian program from 5pm each night.
- The karaoke stage in Parramatta Square is back by popular demand. Sing your heart out and star in your very own live music video on the big screen.
- There will be a main stage in the Leigh Memorial Church Car Park featuring an eclectic selection of music from boppy punk to bedroom pop and hip hop.
Art
Kids will love the interactive art installations and live performances that bring the streets to life.
- In Parramatta Square you will find Amanda Parer’s artwork Lost featuring large botanicals to celebrate nature whilst inspiring fantasy.
- Lawrence Liang and Samuel Kim have created two colossal and colourful cats in their work Otto and Anina that will be displayed on St John’s Cathedral Lawn.
- Shaun Parker and Company will perform their piece Found Objects and run dance workshops in Parramatta Square.
- Optus are installing an eclectic and colourful 6m wide prism called The Pyramid in Parramatta Square.
- Visit the games container in Parramatta Square and spin the wheel for a unique prize.
- The art installation Trumpet Flowers in Prince Alfred Square will provide an over-sized jungle of light and colour to explore.
- New artworks by acclaimed artists Andrew and Chris Yee will be showcased in Powerhouse Lane on George Street under the creative direction of Tony Assness.
- Each night on the Eat Street Car Park Rooftop, five performance artists will perform a piece by Fei Gao called The Path, bringing to life migration journeys of Parramatta's richly diverse community.
With great transport links direct to Parramatta, we recommend ditching the car and skipping the parking hassle. Light rail may be operating during the festival, so be aware and stay safe.
