Parramatta Lanes is one of Sydney’s cultural gems. This 4-day annual festival transforms the streets, gardens, car parks and laneways of Parramatta into a bustling hub of creativity, fun and food.

From quirky activations to hands-in-the-air dance moments, Parramatta Lanes delivers the vibes with eight music stages, 60+ food stalls, pop-up bars, giant art and amazing light installations.

Whether you are keen to see some huge inflatable flowers or an alt-rock band from Thailand, we have curated a journey below to deliver an experience to be remembered.

Stop 1 - Brislington Gardens and Justice Precinct Courtyard

Start your evening in the gorgeous heritage area on Marsden Street.

  • The vibrant festival space at the Justice Precinct will feature Diwali inspired entertainment and a celebration of the local culture from 5pm daily. As the evening progresses the authentic Southeast Asian program will continue with a Bollywood theme culminating in the ultimate nightclub experience on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights presented by Indian Club X.
  • Nearby Brislington Gardens will be a little treasure trove of pretty lights and delicious treats to spend an indulgent moment before hitting the rest of the festival.

Stop 2 - Prince Alfred Square

Art at Parramatta Lanes is not confined to galleries; it spills onto the streets. Prince Alfred Square at the northern end of the CBD will be transformed into a creative hub filled with lights, food, a music stage, art and fun activations.

  • Explore the Trumpet Flowers installation, an over-sized jungle of light and colour, or enjoy the ambience of the gorgeous lighting displays.
  • Watch pooches strut their stuff in the dog agility course each night, and on Friday and Saturday nights a pop-up wrestling ring will provide action-packed entertainment.
  • The music program on the stage includes Jessica Jade presented by Conscious on Wednesday night, Street Uni on Thursday, and ACE & Friends on Saturday.
  • Enjoy a drink from the Archie Rose cocktail bar and grab a bite to eat from one of the 17 street food vendors.

This area is a must on your festival itinerary.

Stop 3 - Eat Street Car Park Rooftop and Levins Lane

During Parramatta Lanes even the most mundane spaces will be completely converted into exciting dining areas and performance spaces.

  • Make the journey up the flight of stairs to emerge into a magical area packed with food stalls serving unique Parramatta Lanes menu options and artisanal beverages.
  • Each night on the rooftop five performance artists will perform a piece by Fei Gao called The Path, bringing to life migration journeys of Parramatta's richly diverse community.
  • On the lower ground floor find Levins Lane complete with food stalls, a bar and a giant gacha gacha machine.
  • On both the rooftop and the lower ground floor pop-up DJ booths will keep the vibes flowing each night.

Stop 4 - Powerhouse Lane

The next stop on your festival journey is Powerhouse Lane on George Street, a new addition to Parramatta Lanes this year.

  • The Powerhouse Stage will present Sydney’s best RnB, soul and hip-hop artists: Wednesday features Powerhouse Generations, Thursday celebrates Pacific culture with Niu Music, Friday fbi.radio take over and Saturday will be curated by We Are Warriors.
  • Powerhouse Lane will be brought to life by Parramatta in Pop by the acclaimed artists Chris Yee and Andrew Yee.

Stop 5 - Leigh Memorial Church Car Park

Music is the heartbeat of Parramatta Lanes and this main stage and bar area has it all. Playing everything from hard core punk to hip hop, indie to bedroom pop, the live music program will be electric.
