A message from Councillor Martin Zaiter, Lord Mayor

When a child is in hospital, the whole family’s world changes. Parents and carers do everything they can to stay close — because being there matters.

Councillor Martin Zaiter, Lord Mayor, is inviting Parramatta’s business and community leaders to take part in the Lord Mayor’s Sleepout for Sick Kids, supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney at The Children’s Hospital, Westmead.

By participating or donating, you are standing alongside families when they need it most, and helping ensure they can stay together, close to their child’s care.

By joining you me, you will:

  1. Take part in an overnight sleep out
  2. Help prepare and serve meals
  3. Spend time with families staying at the House
  4. Help share their stories with warmth, dignity and respect

Whether you choose to sleep out, donate, or help spread the word, your support will make a real difference.
