River Rangers – Water Explorers

All living things need water to survive, but how do animals, plants and people find, and use it in the heat of summer? 

Join us for our full-day holiday adventure along the Parramatta River to uncover the secrets of water in the wild.  

Children become ‘River Rangers’ in this hands-on school holidays program: Head out on a water detective walk along the Parramatta River to explore who depends on water in the park – from bats, birds, fish and the tiny water critters below the surface of the water.

• Use cordage and nature’s gifts to create a natural fishing rod!  
• Cool off with a fun team water game that combines science and play.
• Led by experienced nature educators, this program blends outdoor adventure, creativity and learning, inspiring kidsto see water as the lifeblood of our environment.
