PHIVE SHP: Robo Rookies (Ages 9 - 12)

Designed especially for curious minds aged 9 to 12 years old, RoboRookies is a playful introduction to the world of robotics! Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and simple robotic building kits, children will explore creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork, all while having a blast with their first robot friends.

What to Expect:

A 6-hour session blending storytelling, hands-on building, and guided play. Themes progress from "What is a Robot?" to "Making My Robot Move!". This program also aligns with the school curriculum through play-based, child-led exploration.

• Connection – Collaborating with peers in group challenges.
• Learning & Problem-Solving – Experimenting with cause-and-effect through robotics.
• Communication – Expressing ideas and sharing discoveries.

• This workshop is suitable for children aged 5 - 8 years only - Council reserves the right to remove any bookings that are made outside of this age group

• Parents and carers may sign their children in from 9am and must pick them up and sign out by 3:45pm.
