PHIVE Presents: Parramatta Through Design - Town Hall and PHIVE Tour
Discover the story of Parramatta through two remarkable buildings that define the city's past and future.
Join this guided tour of Parramatta Town Hall and PHIVE, two architectural landmarks that showcase the evolution of Parramatta through design, innovation and civic life.
Begin in the beautifully restored Parramatta Town Hall, a Victorian civic masterpiece completed in 1883. Admire its soaring ceilings, elegant detailing and historic grandeur while uncovering stories of the people and events that have shaped the city for generations.
Then step into PHIVE, Parramatta's award-winning civic and cultural hub. Designed by renowned French architect Manuelle Gautrand, PHIVE combines striking contemporary architecture, innovative sustainability and welcoming public spaces to create one of Australia's most ambitious civic buildings.
Connecting the two is a stunning glass atrium that symbolises the evolution of Parramatta itself, linking heritage and innovation, craftsmanship and cutting-edge design. Along the way, discover the rich history of Parramatta Square, a place that has always been a gathering place for the Burramattagal people of the Dharug Nation and remains the civic heart of one of Australia's fastest-growing cities.
