The Parramatta Future is Female Sprint

We are excited to announce that applications are now open for our Parramatta Future is Female Sprint in partnership with the City of Parramatta. This 6 Month Sprint is designed to fast-track young entrepreneurs by providing them with the essential skills, knowledge, and network to start and grow their businesses.

Participant Requirements: We ask that you commit to attending at least 80% of the in-person sessions in order to get the most out of the program. We encourage young females aged 18-27 in Parramatta who are interested in business or starting one!

Cost: Thanks to the generous support of City of Parramatta, participation in the Sprint is free of charge. However, spots are extremely limited and will be allocated through an application process below.

The workshops will cover the following topics:

💡 Develop and refine business ideas that directly address community or global challenges. You'll learn how to identify problems that need solving and design solutions.

💰 Gain financial literacy to sustainably manage and scale a social enterprise. Understanding the financial aspects of a social enterprise is crucial to ensuring it can grow and maintain its impact.

🎤 Improve public speaking and pitching skills to effectively communicate your social impact. Being able to tell your story and present your vision is essential in attracting support and investment.

🌟 Enhance emotional intelligence and leadership skills for better team and community engagement. Social entrepreneurship requires a deep connection with the people you're trying to help, and strong leadership skills to guide your enterprise to success.

🛎️ Learn the essentials of customer service and how to build a personal brand to engage customers.

🦈 Experience a Shark Tank-style pitching session to present your social enterprise ideas to potential investors and mentors. This is your chance to gain critical feedback and possibly secure support for your venture.
