Our Beecroft Orchestra June 29 Concert includes Beethoven’s Leonore Overture 3 and two rarely heard works.  

Emilie Mayer (1812-1883) was as accomplished a composer as her male contemporaries but has been long overlooked.  Her 1847 Symphony No 1 in 4 movements is a rare treat.

Beecroft Orchestra is supportive of Australian Composers and will also play a work by Colin Brumby (1933-2018), Concertino for Oboe with Frank Giraldo as soloist.
