Spaghetti tossed in a cheese wheel. Lamb cooked over coals. Halo-halo finished with creamy ube ice cream. If your first question about Parramatta Lanes is “what are we eating?”, this is your starting point.
From 21–24 October 2026, make your way around the CBD with a food wish list and room for an unplanned second dessert. Here are a few dishes and stops to build your night around.
Start with a little food theatre
Bianco’s signature spaghetti is tossed fresh to order inside a 24-month-aged Grana Padano wheel, coating each strand in a rich, silky sauce. It’s a reason to pause before you take that first bite.
For another eye-catching order, seek out East Blue Seafood’s lobster rolls and donuts. Or try Dragon Express’s Sip & Dumpling cup, pairing hot dumplings with your drink in one festival-ready creation.
Follow the smoke
Firepop’s O.G. lamb and Butter CUBE wagyu are cooked fresh over coals, putting the produce and the fire front and centre. MEATSWORD’s Excalibur Beef Meatsword brings charcoal-cooked, grain-fed Black Angus beef with signature seasoning.
Prefer your barbecue in a bun? Black Bear BBQ’s cheeseburger features beef brisket smoked for 12 hours. These are the stops to keep in mind when you’re ready for something smoky, rich and satisfying.
Make time for the Latin Quarter
The expanded Latin Quarter brings BAR30 & Parilla back to Phillip Street. Follow the open-fire barbecue for smoky choripán and sizzling asado cuts, with fresh, spicy margaritas to match.
Elsewhere on your festival food hunt, look for La Mila’s Milanesa Completo with chips, fresh toppings, Mila Sauce and chimichurri. Keep Cholito Empanadas on your list, too.
Find your Filipino favourites
MATE PINOY brings Filipino spaghetti and signature rice bowls, while MIX MIX CO.’s halo-halo layers shaved ice, premium ingredients and creamy ube ice cream.
The food lineup also includes HOY PINOY, Lugaw Queen and Smoky Cravings. Whether you’re returning for a familiar favourite or trying something new, there’s plenty to build a Filipino food trail around.
Follow your cravings around the world
Try Hungry Paulie’s Taiwanese-style popcorn chicken, marinated in five-spice, double-fried and tossed with fragrant fried Thai basil. May’s Malaysian Hawker serves mie goreng cooked live in the wok with Asian greens, while Satay Brothers brings freshly cooked Malaysian chicken satay.
For another flavour direction, seek out Taste of Sierra Leone’s jollof rice or The Pharaoh BBQ’s signature lamb sandwich, made with slow-marinated halal lamb and four signature sauces. Shorty’s souvlaki mixed plate adds Greek salad, fries, warm pita and homemade tzatziki to the feast.
Give dessert its own itinerary
Chimnutz’s Crème Brûlée Chimnutz combines a freshly baked Hungarian chimney cake with custard, signature soft serve and toppings. At Yummy Yummy Knafeh, Nabulsi cheese meets golden pastry, ghee, saffron-infused syrup and pistachios.
For crunch, look for Macau Sweet Street Bites’ tanghulu, with seasonal fruit coated in a crisp sugar shell. Its menu also includes filled Pom Pom Egg Waffle Sticks and Korean bingsu. KOI Dessert Bar is creating special desserts for Parramatta Lanes 2026, so keep an eye out for the reveal.
Experience the Bossman Eat Street takeover
This year, Bossman Experiences is transforming Eat Street Car Park into a three-level celebration of food, culture, shopping and entertainment. Downstairs, Texas State Fair-inspired eats bring carnival energy, from deep-fried pizza to loaded mozzarella dessert sticks. One level up, explore flavours from around the world, including Greek street food, Nonna-made pasta and Polynesian supper plates. On the rooftop, Filipino food, music and culture take centre stage, with giant empanadas, lumpia buckets and party vibes all night long. You'll also find Art Mini Golf, the Art Car Boot Sale and market stalls filled with vintage finds, fashion, collectibles and hidden gems. Three levels. Three different experiences.
One stop worth lingering at.
