Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony & Christmas Markets

Join Lord Mayor Martin Zaiter at 7:30pm for the lighting of the city’s iconic 16-metre Christmas Tree, a dazzling moment that marks the start of holiday celebrations.

Then you can wander through the Christmas Markets, presented by Walker Corporation, where stalls brim with handcrafted gifts, local art, delicious food and live music. 

It’s a joyful evening for the whole family - full of festive cheer, community spirit and magical moments.
