Parramatta is bringing FREE Family Movie Nights to your local park these April School Holidays. From 4pm - 6pm, join us for a fun-filled schedule of kids activities, live entertainment and food stalls, and after sunset, catch your favourite blockbusters under the stars!

The event is on Friday 11, Saturday 12, Sunday 13, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April 2025. Pre-show activities are on from 4pm to 6pm. Movie screenings starts once last light hits.
Yes, it is free to attend the event and watch the movie screening. There will also be various free drop-in activities, workshops and live performances from 4pm-6pm. Food stalls will also selling some snacks and drinks available for purchase on the night.
All beanbags/grass spots and pre-movie activities are available on a first come first served basis. There will be lots of space although we recommend arriving early to grab the best spot for the movie!
There will be a variety of food stalls offering pizza, coffee, ice cream and popcorn. We also recommend bringing also bring your own picnic food and snacks if you know what you like!
Yes, there will be drinking water via the park bubblers or drinking water stations.
Be sure to bring your picnic blanket, picnic food and drinking water. Since this is an outdoor event, we also recommend bringing mosquito repellent and blankets/jackets as it could get chilly at night. If you wish to bring camping chairs, they must be set up at the back of the viewing area.
If you require First Aid, please speak to roaming security, event staff or directly to first aid personnel. All will be patrolling around the event site.
Yes! Dogs are permitted on a leash except for when participating in the Dog Agility Course. Dogs (other than service dogs) will not be permitted into workshop spaces. There are also dog parks next to each of the event sites for your furry friends to enjoy, although please follow dog park rules across the parks!
There is ample parking in and around the parks, however we recommend to walk, use public transport or carpool.
