Lighting up your local park these April School Holidays. Arrive early for kids’ activities, live entertainment and food stalls from 4pm to 6pm and once the sun sets, settle in for your favourite movies under the stars!

Family Movie Nights will be held at five local parks including Sue Savage Reserve, Northmead Reserve, North Rocks Park, West Epping Park and FS Garside Park.
The event is on Friday 10, Saturday 11, Sunday 12, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 April 2026 at a different park each night. Arrive early for kids’ activities, entertainment and food stalls from 4pm to 6pm. Movie screenings start once last light hits.
Yes, it is free to attend all five events. The free movie screenings are non-ticketed and there will be various free drop-in kids’ activities, workshops, sport games and live performances on the night. Food stalls will also be selling some food and drinks available for purchase.
There will be a variety of food stalls offering pizza, coffee and popcorn. We also recommend bringing your own picnic food and snacks if you know what you like!
Yes, there will be drinking water via the park bubblers or drinking water stations.
Be sure to bring your picnic blanket, picnic food and drinking water. Since this is an outdoor event, we also recommend bringing mosquito repellent and blankets/jackets as it could get chilly at night. If you wish to bring camping chairs, they must be set up at the back of the viewing area.
• All beanbags/grass spots and pre-movie activities are available on a first come first served basis. There will be lots of space although we recommend arriving early to grab the best spot for the movie!
If you require First Aid, please speak to roaming security, event staff or directly to first aid personnel. All will be patrolling around the event site
Dogs are permitted on a leash – please ensure dog rules are followed at the parks. Dogs (other than service dogs) will not be permitted into workshop spaces.
Prams and wheelchairs will be able to be pushed around the entire event site.
Yes, there are public toilets located at each event site.
There is ample parking in and around the parks, however we recommend to walk, use public transport or carpool.
