Ollie Webb Reserve

Glebe Street, Parramatta

Ollie Webb Reserve’s main attraction is its district-level, all abilities play space featuring water play. Play space attractions include carousel, three-bay swing, trampolines, embankment slide, music chimes, sandpit, and shaded water play area. Other features at this Reserve include football fields, public toilets, and pavilion.

As well as this, Ollie Webb Reserve is located only a hop, skip, and jump away from the soccer/cricket sporting fields at Jones Park (which also has a small playground as well as cricket practice nets) and is within reasonable walking distance to Westfield Parramatta.

Street parking is available along Glebe Street.

George Kendall Riverside Park

38A Spofforth Street, Ermington

Linked with the Parramatta River Walk, George Kendall Riverside Park boasts mass amounts of outdoor recreational space. Sporting facilities include dual soccer/cricket fields, baseball fields, a basketball court and basketball half court, as well as a tennis court (which is available to be booked online).

There is a learn-to-ride space for young children to explore their 2 or 3-wheeled endeavours, shaded playground facilities, and barbecue and picnic areas. There is also a fully-enclosed dog off-leash park near the main entrance on Gregory Street. Public toilets are also available.

Access to parking is available from Gregory Street, Boyle Street/Trumble Avenue, and Broadoaks Street.

Rydalmere Park

35 South Street, Rydalmere

Located within proximity to public transport along Victoria Road, Rydalmere Park’s primary attraction is its sporting fields. These fields include a full-sized synthetic soccer field and warm-up area which is suitable for use in almost all weather conditions, and 2 turfed soccer fields with a synthetic cricket wicket centred in between. Should you desire, you can also hone in your bowling and batting skills using the cricket practice nets.

Facility parking is available off South Street and Park Road.

FS Garside Park

1 Onslow Street, Granville

Nestled between Parramatta Road and Gray Street, FS Garside Park is a 3 hectare, district-level park which has recently been re-built from the ground up. Presenting fun for the whole family and even your furry friend, the amenities and facilities at this location are abundant and well-suited to a variety of needs. Street parking is located on Onslow Street and Gray Street.

Park features include a fully-enclosed off-leash dog park, bmx pump track, soccer field and spectator viewing areas, basketball court and table tennis tables, exercise stations, playground equipment including sliding and climbing apparatuses, as well as a flying fox which is sure to delight. There are picnic tables and barbecue facilities. Public toilets are also available. 

James Ruse Reserve and Robin Thomas Reserve

45 Hassall Street, Parramatta

James Ruse Reserve and Robin Thomas Reserve are located within the Parramatta CBD. Located within proximity to Parramatta Wharf and across the road from Hambledon Cottage (which is also component of the Harris Park Heritage Walk), James Ruse Reserve features sports fields with synthetic cricket pitch, skate bowl (including half pipes, grindrails, and a 9 foot bowl), playground including water play, and barbecue and picnic facilities.

The sports fields are currently undergoing upgrade works which is due to be completed in August 2025. Information about our current upgrades can be found here.
