Get ready for a spectacular sight this Australia Day long weekend, as Balloon Glow takes off in Parramatta Park! This evening event features a stunning hot air balloon illumination display, live music, family activities, delicious food and more.

Entry is free!

  • Watch the mesmerising hot air balloon illumination display light up the night sky at 8:45 pm.
  • Enjoy the live music entertainment program on the concert stage.
  • The whole family will love the activities, roving entertainers and amusement rides.*
  • Grab a delicious meal, refreshing drink or yummy dessert from one of the food trucks.
  • Test out your kicking and handball skills at our AFL Skill Zone Inflatable, or try to jump as high as the pros at our Vertical Jump Test. Want to win some prizes? Have a go at guessing how many footies are in the tubs for a chance to win!

*Tickets for amusement rides can be purchased at the event.

6:15pm:   Tahkoe - Singer/songwriter hailing from Western Sydney
7:10pm:   Mike Champion - singer/songwriter/performer whose distinct sound fuses R&B, Nu Soul, Hip Hop and Afro-Soul
8:00pm:   Address from the Right Worshipful Lord Mayor Martin Zaiter
8:05pm:   DJ Thaen - get ready to groove!
8:45pm:   Balloon Glow illumination display set to an original composition by First Nation's composer Tristan Field

Roving entertainers include The Glorious Sousaphonics Brass Band, hula hoops, bubbles, deep sea astronauts, fireflies, robots and a peacock!
