International Women’s Day
International Women's Day is celebrated annually on March 8 to bring awareness of women’s issues; increase the visibility of women’s achievements in the community; and promote equity, diversity, and inclusion.
The 2025 UN Women’s Australia campaign theme is March Forward, with the international movement embracing the overarching message: For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.
This theme calls for bold action to address persistent inequalities and ensure that no woman or girl is left behind in the global pursuit of gender equality.
Join us in supporting this annual recognition of the women in our community through a series of events throughout March. These include a FREE event on Saturday 15 March focused on empowering women in business with family-friendly activities, skill-boosting workshops, a spotlight on creative arts, and inspirational leaders.
