With a mission to make personal styling more accessible and confidence boosting for everyone, DRESSI blends technology with creativity, streamlining the retail experience and empowering users to feel great in what they wear.
“DRESSI is your AI personal stylist. We help women build outfits from what they already own, discover what works for them, what works for their body shape, their skin tone, and shop only what they need,” says founder Iris Phan.
Founded by Iris Phan, a Vietnamese born entrepreneur, turned a lifelong passion for tech and self expression into a powerful startup. Building her business from the ground up in Parramatta, Iris combined her deep expertise in tech with a sharp understanding of retail trends to create a solution that’s as smart as it is stylish.
“I first came to Parramatta through the Ignition program with Launchpad, and it quickly became my place for growth and a new beginning,” Phan recalls. “Launchpad is my game changer. For me, Launchpad is not just a co-working space, but it's a sense of community, of support, mentorship, and access to experienced founders," said Iris.
At its core, DRESSI uses proprietary AI technology to deliver hyper-personalised styling recommendations tailored to each user’s preferences, body type, and lifestyle.
By learning from real behaviour and feedback, the platform acts like a digital personal stylist guiding users toward clothes they’ll not only love, but actually wear.
In doing so, DRESSI is helping reduce fashion waste by encouraging more mindful purchasing and minimising unworn items that end up in landfill. It’s a smarter, more sustainable way to shop - where style meets purpose in the heart of Parramatta’s innovation ecosystem.
DRESSI took shape at Launch Pad, Western Sydney University’s incubator that supports early-stage startups with mentoring, resources and a community of innovators. Parramatta’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem and diverse community offered the perfect space for DRESSI’s inclusive, data driven styling experience.
