African Film Festival

Africa Film Fest Australia lands at Event Cinemas Parramatta from 5 to 6 September 2026, featuring fourteen Australian premieres, exclusive films and short films celebrating stories from Africa and its global diaspora.

Curated by Co-Directors Mumbi Hinga and Safia Amadou and produced by Arts & Cultural Exchange (ACE), the festival spotlights must-see cinematic masterpieces including The Desert Child, Muganga, Katanga, El Sett, East West Love, Skylark, and Black Is Beautiful, alongside exclusive filmmaker Q&As.
