Write Together, Rise Together: Playwright Coworking Sessions

Join fellow playwrights for dedicated writing time at PHIVE during Heartland Festival 2026. Held every Thursday and Saturday afternoon across the festival, these relaxed coworking sessions offer a welcoming space to focus on your craft, build momentum and connect with a community of writers.

Facilitated by Australian Plays Transform, the sessions are open to playwrights of all experience levels. Bring your work-in-progress, settle in and write alongside others in a supportive, pressure-free environment. There are no pitches, presentations or expectations, just time, space and a little accountability to help you keep creating.

Throughout each session, producers and dramaturgs from Australian Plays Transform and National Theatre of Parramatta will be available for informal conversations about storytelling, industry pathways and opportunities for Australian playwrights.

Whether you're developing a new script or looking for creative connection, come for the writing and stay for the community.
