Africultures Festival is Australia’s premier African community festival, celebrating the rich cultures, flavours, fashion and sounds of the African continent.

On the day

• Nile Food Court: African cuisine at its best from all walks of the AfricanOz community in Australia.
• Kilimanjaro and Serengeti Stages: Our two stages are filled with vibrant performers including artists, dancers, drummers, and unique African performances.
• African Market Place: Over 40 commercial and information stalls selling African products such as clothing, fabrics, homewares, and accessories.
• Watoto's Corner: (Kids Zone) Bring your kids and let them enjoy an array of activities including face painting and mask making.
• Workshops: Experience the culture, rhythm, and beats of Africa by getting involved in our workshops.
• Kanu Sports Zone: Get into our sports zone with a range of sports.
• Fashion Parade: Get involved and show us what you wore on the day for a chance to be part of the festival by showcasing it on stage.
