Africa Film Fest Australia Returns in 2025 with a Bold Celebration of Pan-African Cinema.

Africa Film Fest Australia returns to Riverside Theatres from 6–7 September 2025 with a powerful and diverse program showcasing stories from across the African continent and the diaspora. This year’s festival will take place at iconic venues including Riverside Theatres, bringing together films, culture, and conversation like never before.

In 2025, Africa Film Fest Australia continues its mission to spotlight underrepresented voices and celebrate African creativity through cinema, storytelling and performance.

A project of Arts & Cultural Exchange and dedicated African Australian curators, with support from Screen NSW, City of Parramatta, Weir Anderson Foundation, Ubuntu Project, UTS, AFTRS, the African Youth Initiative Sydney and Black Music Alliance.
