Lebanese Festival 2026
Sunday 22 November 2026
Fred Robertson Park, Bell Road, Oatlands
11am – 4pm
City of Parramatta is seeking Expressions of Interest from performers, artists, musicians, dancers, roving entertainers, workshop facilitators and community performance groups to be part of the inaugural Lebanese Festival 2026.
Lebanese Festival will be a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of Lebanese culture, bringing together food, live music, dance, cooking demonstrations, community showcases and roving entertainment in the heart of Oatlands. The event will celebrate the richness of Lebanese heritage while strengthening local connections and supporting small businesses within the Parramatta LGA.
We are looking for performers and groups who can contribute to a diverse, engaging and culturally rich program, including:
Music and Live Performance – solo artists, bands, choirs, DJs, vocalists and instrumentalists with a connection to Lebanese music, culture or community celebration.
Dance and Cultural Performance – traditional and contemporary dancers, Dabke groups, folk dance ensembles and community dance groups.
Community Performance Groups – schools, youth groups, cultural associations, churches, community organisations and local groups who would like to present a performance, showcase or cultural demonstration.
Roving Entertainment – drummers, dancers, musicians and performers who can bring energy, movement and atmosphere throughout the festival precinct.
Workshops and Interactive Experiences – artists or facilitators who can deliver participatory activities such as drumming, dance, music, storytelling, craft or cultural learning experiences.
Other Unique Performance Ideas – if you have a performance, activity or creative idea that celebrates Lebanese culture or connects with the spirit of the festival, we would love to hear from you.
Applicants may be individuals, collectives, community groups, schools or organisations. Performers do not need to be based in the City of Parramatta, but preference may be given to applicants with a connection to the Parramatta LGA or Lebanese community.
Selected performers and groups will be contacted by City of Parramatta to discuss programming opportunities, performance requirements, fees, technical needs and availability.
Please submit your Expression of Interest by: Monday 31 August
