Talking Tombstones - Talk with PowerPoint Presentation and Morning Tea

'Curiosity' is the theme for the 2022 Heritage Festival and it's Kerima-Gae Topp's insatiable curiosity to find out what lies behind a name, a few words or an unusual tombstone that results in the discovery of many intriguing stories.

This powerpoint presentation, the 5th in a stand-alone series, shares with you some of those amazing finds. You will hear about a 'poison pill' and a will that sparked a 13-year bitter court case, a hero but how many know of him, a much loved, generous, kilt-wearing, bagpipe-playing Chinese, a murder most foul and why heads were severed, a couple of bushrangers, a queen, two Australian firsts not welcomed by the receivers, a tombstone whose inscription makes one wonder at its true meaning and a well-known Australian buried in a rock.

As a finale a wonderful find during a wander through the streets of London.
