On 27 November 1941, H.M.A.S. Parramatta (II) was sunk by a German submarine in the Mediterranean Sea near Tobruk. To mark the 80th anniversary of this day, the Naval Association of Australia Parramatta Memorial (NAAPM) Sub Section will be hosting a memorial service to remember the 138 men of the H.M.A.S. Parramatta (II) who made a supreme sacrifice.
