Fabric Connections - Textile Play for Adults
Join us at the table to materialise memory, stories and knowledge in a friendly and calm environment in our new Tuesday morning program at PHIVE; Fabric Connections, facilitated by artist Linda Brescia.
Fabric Connections is an invitation to get lost in making, sharing, and learning using playful textile techniques and guided by Linda.
All materials are provided and Linda will also guide with prompts, potential projects, examples and guidance throughout the sessions; crochet, knitting, weaving, soft sculpture, embroidery, and sewing to begin with!
Stay for the full two hours or feel free to drop in for as little or as long as you can. Have a cup of tea and feed your hands a tactile experience. This is an opportunity to put down your phone, and pick up a pair of needles, work on collaborative projects, bring in existing works or create your own each week.
Time: 11.30am – 1.30pm
Location: PHIVE Foyer
Free: Drop in. All materials are provided – however you are welcome to bring projects you are working on as well!
