City of Parramatta's NYE Program is proudly presented by Justin Hill from 2DayFM.

ARIA award-winning artists Sneaky Sound System are best known for their spectacular chart-topping hits UFO, Pictures, I Love It, and the #1 UK club smash It’s Not My Problem.

They have appeared at some of the major festivals around the world including Glastonbury, Global Gathering, Big Day Out and Splendour in the Grass, and at events such as the Australian F1 Grand Prix and the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras.

DJ Pluggy is an international DJ from Korea playing creative styles of music with the fusion of multiple genres of Hip Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Amapiano and K-POP with proper musicality and technical skills. 

Burnt Butter Jam is a dynamic 5-piece band hailing from the vibrant music scene of Western Sydney. This eclectic group is a true testament to the power of musical fusion, bringing together talented musicians from diverse backgrounds to create a sound that is uniquely their own.

Originating from Western Sydney, Mel. is a musical force driven by the pulse of R&B rhythms and the soulful echoes of influential artists like Cleo Sol, Kelela, and Solange. Comprised of a dynamic trio—Mellenie, Tigue, and Dylan—Mel embodies a collective vision to create music that not only resonates but also makes you move.

Suara Indonesia Dance Group presents an energetic mix of dance, body percussion and song unparalleled by any other performance group in Australia. With a blend of traditional and contemporary influences from their Indonesian heritage and Australian upbringing, Suara Indonesia Dance Group brings liveliness, originality and all-engaging performances to the stage every time.

Children’s Activities and Information

Coronation Hill is our designated activity area for children which will house the hands on science precinct as well as fun activities for the whole family. There will also be garden games and a bubble and music play area!

What do I do if I have a lost child?
Please speak with event staff or security within the event site or at one of the gates.

Do you have wristbands/ID for children?
Child wristbands are available at the information booths, for parents and guardians to write their mobile number. This assists event staff and security in reuniting lost children with their parent or guardian.
 

Fireworks

What time are the fireworks?
The firework display will start at 9:00pm. 

Where Is the best place to view the fireworks?
Check out the event map for the best locations to view the fireworks across all three events sites within Parramatta Park. Otherwise, if you live nearby, you may be able to view the fireworks from the comfort of your own home!
 

Food & Drink

Is there food on site?
Yes, there will be an offering of food trucks on site with a mixture of sweet, savoury and everything in between! We also recommend bringing a picnic rug to make a comfortable space for yourself on the grass. 

Savoury food trucks include Chatore Chilli, H & S Turkish Gozleme, Yan's Asian Cater, RED TIBBA, Sri Dakshin Eats, Els Fried Chicken, Marakana Burek and Taste Catering. 

Sweet food trucks include Sticky Bakes, Som Som Candy, In a box Foodtruck, Your Dessert Station & Classic Soft Serves.

Coffee from Coffee and Snowcone to go, Rocky Mountain Coffee & Cafe De Luz.

Drinks from Lemonade by Citrus and Sugar, Tebu Sugarcane Juice & Bobble Tea.

Is there a bar on site?
Yes, Crescent Bar is our licensed area. You must carry valid ID to enter. 

The bar will serve:

  • selection of beers and ciders from Young Henrys
  • sparkling, white, rosé and red
  • selection of seltzers and spirits
  • non-alcoholic drinks

Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes, you are allowed to bring your own food from home. We recommend bringing a picnic basket and/or Esky, with low foldable festival chairs or a picnic rug to make a comfortable space for yourself on the grass. Cooking equipment, such as camping gas burners, are not permitted on site.

Can I bring alcohol (BYO)?
Alcohol is permitted in small amounts for people over 18. Security may ask to inspect your bags and check ID if you are bringing alcohol into the event. Liquor brought into the park will be strictly restricted to 1 litre with a 14% maximum alcohol or 6x Beers/Ciders (5%) per person. No glass will be permitted into the park.

Where can I refill my water bottle?
Free drinking water taps are located throughout the park such as The Crescent and Monuments. Bring your own bottles and refill through the evening!

The Crescent – main stage

Is the event free?
Yes, this event is free!

What happens if it rains?
Light/medium rain will not cause cancellation of the New Year’s Eve events. As public safety is one of our priorities, adverse weather forecasts of lightning storms, torrential rain and/or strong winds may result in event cancellation. 

Where is the ATM?
There are no ATMs within the park, however, food stalls will have digital payment options available.

Where are the toilets?
Please see event map for toilet locations, accessible toilets are located in The Crescent and Coronation Hill. 

Where is first aid?
There is a First Aid tent at Coronation Hill, opposite our Hands On Science Precinct. Please see event map for precise location. 

Can I bring a shade tent/dome?
No, shade tents/domes and other similar structures are not permitted at the event.

Can I bring a drone?
No, you cannot bring a drone. 

Can I bring my dog?
We recommend leaving your furry family member at home, if possible, as there will be fireworks display quite close to the event site. If you live nearby, ensure you have made prior plans for your pets to be safe and secure during our 9.00pm fireworks.
